Instructions For Use

Using the NetMinder is quick and easy. Essentially two discs are joined on the net and two on your vest or other fishing apparel. Move the discs on the apparel until they match those on the net.

While assembling, please use caution. These magnets are powerful.

  1. Separate all discs: remove the spacer tab and discard it.

  2. Join the two small net discs with the net between them, approximately 2 inches from the net handle base near the net center. Do not place over the net seam. Align disc studs with opposing holes and push together.

    Note: Should you need to reposition the net discs, you can separate them by carefully inserting a knife blade between the discs and pulling them directly apart to avoid breaking the studs.

  3. With the net connected to the vest (or other article of clothing) mark where the net discs contact the vest.

  4. With one layer of fabric between them, place the two larger base discs where the net discs contact the vest. One disc will be on the outside of the vest and one on the inside of a pocket, depending on the vest design.

  5. To Check For Proper Alignment: While standing, remove the net from its original upper net attachment and separate the NetMinder as if retrieving a fish. Reconnect the original upper net attachment as usual and release the net. The base discs and net discs of the NetMinder will “find” each other and secure the net in place. If this does not occur, adjust the base discs to the proper alignment position.
